Hello, my name is David Daw and I would be a great eccentric millionaire. Our world has a problem. We have, over the past fifty years, lost our former wealth of fantastically rich men and women willing to spend any amount to do anything that strikes their fancy. Where are these heroes when we need them to the most? Who will organize our elaborate theme parties on zeppelins? Who? Me.

There’s only one problem, I lack the proper funding. I am not a millionaire, in fact, after paying all my bills most months I am rarely a thousandaire. Here, gentle reader, is where you come in, for there are millions of people in America and I need millions of dollars. Perhaps you have already sensed the connection. All that has to happen to make me an eccentric millionaire is that all of you, collectively, need to donate at least one dollar to my account. Now, I know what you’re thinking, and to allay your fears here is a picture of me wearing a top hat and a monocle.

Clearly I have the qualifications to be a millionaire. However, I can hear you asking already, “why should I contribute to you when there are so many up-and-coming millionaires? How do I know you will be the most eccentric?” The answer is accountability. I’m not just here to be an eccentric millionaire, I’m here to be your eccentric millionaire. Every day one of you donates one dollar to my millionaire fund I will post one thing that I plan to do when I am wealthy beyond measure. And when my goal is met and I am finally a millionaire I will let you, the reader, decide which of these plans I will enact first.
